Motor Vehicle Crashes are the leading cause of death for children.  In an effort to reduce injuries and death, Norwich Safe Communities Coalition has partnered with The William W. Backus Hospital, Norwich Fire Department and Safe Kids New London County to hold monthly car seat inspections.  The Child Safety Seat Inspection Station runs the first Friday of each month, by appointment only, and is located at the Norwich Fire Department Headquarters, 10 North Thames Street, Norwich, Connecticut.
